2026
We are so excited to host our Breaking barriers event on June 23rd. Join us as we kick off Disability Pride month at 2pm at the Lansing Shuffle with a celebration of art and community! The art exhibit will be up in the space and many of the artists will be in attendance. We’ll have trivia, an art room where you can create some art of your own, video game and shuffle board opportunities, and a presentation and acknowledgement of the artists and their amazing work.
After the fun at the Shuffle, you can head next door to Jackson Field and enjoy a sensory friendly baseball game with the Lansing Lugnuts. Community partners will be there with information tables on the concourse. Partners Include:
- Disability Rights Michigan
- Michigan Developmental Disabilities Institute
- MiAble
- Secretary of State Accessible Voting Program
- Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council
- Tri County Office of Aging
and more!
We hope to see you there!!!
