SAVE THE DATE: Breaking Barriers Day is scheduled for June 23, 2026!
Our 3rd annual Breaking Barriers Day is officially scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
We heard your feedback: last year was too hot! For this year, we are moving the event from July to June in hopes that we might get a small break from summer heat.
Breaking Barriers Day will also be the official grand opening of the Breaking Barriers Art Exhibit. If you missed last year’s art exhibit, you can visit the Council website to see the amazing art that was on display.
In addition to our art exhibit, we are also planning to bring back our sensory-friendly baseball game in partnership with the Lansing Lugnuts and Disability Rights Michigan. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to June!
